This page will come together [very] gradually. Probably least dull, I'll drop some screenshots of the original versions of the game (the one you're playing is actually the third one we made). Apart from that, I'm going to recount the design and development process we went through while putting together Fire and Forget.

It's oriented more toward people who might want to make something similar. Which means it will probably be kind of dry. Apologies in advance.

The design changed a lot as we got stuff working, and I'm going to walk through the evolution of the game and its features as best as I can recall. I'll talk a bit about adapting a song to a game in general, and for F&F in particular. I'll mention how some key things were coded and what sort of tools we made and used. Distribution problems and solutions will also be [briefly] discussed.
