Download for Windows XP (9mb)
Just download and run the installer. It will copy the game files and make a shortcut for you.

Download for Mac OSX (8mb)
Unzip and run the application file. I don't really understand the mysteries of Mac, so let me know if I'm distributing this all wrong.

Setup FAQ
How do I know I can trust this Windows installer?
We use an installer because it's the easiest way for most people to get into the game fast. It's all very harmless, but if installation makes you nervous, you can download a zipped folder with the game files. Unzip it and double click "Fire and Forget.exe" to play. No installation needed.

What do I need to play?
First off, you need Java installed. If you don't have it already, you'll be offered a link to the download site when you start up Fire and Forget (on Windows, anyway. On Mac you'll have to download it yourself). Hit OK and the Java download site will pop up with a big download button. It's a complete breeze to set up. Apart from that, the audio gets choppy on slower computers. If things just aren't sounding right, steal your neighbor's computer.

Why can't I just play this in my web browser?
A browser based game was definately our original plan. As the design evolved, however, we wanted things that a browser just couldn't have handled (primarily the nice, round planet). We didn't want to sacrifice quality, so we went with the most painless download possible.
